GENERAL INFORMATION

RESERVATIONS--RESERVATIONS SHOULD BE MADE BY CALLING 217-430-9933 or 217-430-9935. If you are traveling with someone (whether it be a day trip or multiple day trip), please tell us at the time of your reservation, so we will be able to seat you together on the bus and at the event.

PAYMENTS – PAYMENTS SHOULD BE SENT TO GOODWIN TOURS.

After registering for a multiple day tour, a deposit should be sent to Goodwin Tours to confirm your

reservation.

MULTIPLE DAY TRIPS– Prices are per person, double occupancy. The single, triple, or quad price is available upon request. After reservations are made, we will send a registration form, which should be completed and returned with your deposit within 14 days to confirm your reservation. Please be sure to sign the form. On most tours, the balance is due no later than 60 days prior to departure. For tours that include airline tickets and/or cruise fares, we will inform you of the deposit due, the balance due date, and cancellation deadline at the time of registration. On multiple day tours, we rotate seats daily. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation with seat rotation. Luggage handling is included on most overnight trips 2 nights or longer for one large bag per person. An itinerary, luggage tags, etc. will be mailed to you prior to departure.

DAY TRIPS – Prices are per person. Full payment is due 60 days before departure. For some day trips, payment may be required sooner than 60 days out. Sign-ups are welcome within 60 days based on availability. Seating on the motorcoach and at events is based on date of receipt of payment. Seat tags will be put up on the motorcoach in payment order from front to back.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

DAY TRIPS: There will be no refund for cancellations made within 60 days prior to departure, unless we have a wait list and are able to resell your seat. If that occurs, there will be a $20 administrative fee.

MULTIPLE DAY TRIPS: The following CANCELLATION FEES will apply: 61 days or more prior to departure: full refund less any non-refundable expenses; 60 days or less prior to departure: NO REFUND

TRAVEL INSURANCE:We highly recommend travel insurance. Insurance information will be sent with each registration form.If you wish to purchase travel insurance, please complete the Insurance Enrollment Form and return it with your registration form to book the insurance. Be sure to check your intention to purchase or not to purchase the travel insurance and sign the enrollment form. Also, we need a separate check for the insurance premium made out to Goodwin Tours.

MOTORCOACHES – Motorcoaches are scheduled to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure with immediate boarding. All motorcoaches are strictly Non-Smoking. All motorcoaches are bathroom-equipped; however, we make stops often and ask that passengers use the facilities at these break stops.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All tours are under the management of Goodwin Tours of Quincy, IL. They act only in the capacity of agents for the passengers in all matters pertaining to travel, whether by plane, train, coach, ship, self‐drive or rental auto or vans, or by any means of conveyance. They shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss occasioned by neglect or default of any company or persons engaged in conveying the tours. These agents reserve the right to withdraw a tour or make any changes in the published itinerary whenever in their sole judgment conditions warrant, or they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of passengers. They accept no responsibility for delays, delayed departure or arrival, weather cancellations, missed carrier connections or mechanical defect or failure of any nature or substitution of hotel or carrier equipment. These agents are not responsible for participants on a tour who fail to meet at scheduled times or places in a timely fashion. If a group departure is missed, rejoining that group is the responsibility of the passenger.

LODGING FOR OUT-OF-TOWN TOUR GUESTS

Out-of-town guests wishing to join our tours may want to take advantage of the corporate lodging rate offered by Town & Country Inn & Suites in Quincy. The special rate at this time provided for Goodwin Tours for pre or post tour lodging is only $110 plus tax for single or double occupancy. Many of our 2026-2027 Tours will depart from the Town & Country Inn & Suites location. The management and staff of this beautiful hotel have even been gracious enough to offer the use of the restrooms and lobby waiting area.
